Distinctive coastal cliffs on the Norfolk coast

Hunstanton Cliffs rise above the shoreline at the western end of the Norfolk Coast Path, where routes, landscapes, and coastal environments meet along the edge of The Wash. Known for their distinctive bands of carrstone, red chalk, and white chalk, the cliffs form one of the most recognisable natural landmarks on the Norfolk coast.

Located between Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton, the cliffs sit within the Norfolk Coast National Landscape and alongside the Norfolk Coast Path. Today, they form part of a wider network of coastal routes, landscapes, and places that connect beaches, dunes, nature reserves, and settlements across north Norfolk.
