Stay at a traditional seafront inn in Sheringham

The Two Lifeboats is a historic pub with guest accommodation overlooking the beach in Sheringham, on the Norfolk Coast. Situated at the seaward end of the High Street, the inn combines traditional pub character with an exceptional seafront setting, offering a welcoming place to stay within walking distance of the town's shops, harbourfront attractions and coastal paths.

The inn has six individually furnished guest bedrooms, comprising four double rooms, one twin and one single. All have en-suite facilities and sea views, with some overlooking the beach directly. Guests can enjoy breakfast and traditional pub dining, including seasonal specials, locally caught seafood and classic British dishes. The bar, restaurant and outdoor seating overlooking the promenade provide places to relax after exploring the coast.

The Norfolk Coast Path passes through Sheringham, offering walks west towards Weybourne and Salthouse, or east towards Cromer. The surrounding coastline combines beaches, cliffs and open coastal landscapes, while nearby Sheringham Park offers woodland trails, landscaped grounds and viewpoints overlooking the North Sea. Shorter walks along the promenade and through the town provide opportunities to explore without travelling far from the inn.

Sheringham is well connected by rail, with Sheringham Railway Station served by regular Greater Anglia trains from Norwich, providing connections to London and other destinations across the national rail network. The town is also the eastern terminus of the heritage North Norfolk Railway, where steam and diesel trains run through the countryside towards Weybourne Station and Holt. With independent shops, cafés and seafront attractions within easy walking distance of the inn, Sheringham makes a convenient base for exploring the Norfolk Coast National Landscape without relying on a car.
