Finishing the Norfolk Coast Path at Hopton-on-Sea
The Norfolk Coast Path finishes at Hopton-on-Sea on the eastern edge of Norfolk, near the Suffolk border. After following the coast from Hunstanton through beaches, saltmarsh, villages, and seaside towns, the route reaches a quieter stretch of shoreline with low cliffs and open sea views.
Hopton-on-Sea
Hopton-on-Sea marks the eastern end of the route, just south of Gorleston-on-Sea.

At the end of the route you’ll find:
- Open views along the coast toward Suffolk
- Sandy beach and low cliffs
- Access to nearby coastal paths and settlements
- A quieter, less visited stretch of shoreline

This section includes:
- Promenade and seafront walking
- Sandy beaches and low cliffs
- Views across the open North Sea
The final miles are straightforward and easy to follow.
