Broadway sits on the western edge of the Cotswolds in Worcestershire within the Cotswolds National Landscape, directly on the Cotswold Way. The trail passes through the centre of the village before climbing onto the escarpment, linking Broadway with Chipping Campden to the north and Stanton and Winchcombe to the south.

The settlement stretches along a broad limestone high street at the foot of rising pasture and woodland. Walking routes leave the village along quiet lanes and field paths before ascending steadily toward Broadway Tower and the open ridge above. Ground conditions are generally firm, with a mix of pavements, grassland, and well-used hillside tracks.
