The Olde Windmill Inn is a historic country inn in Great Cressingham, surrounded by the rural landscape of Norfolk. Dating back to around 1650, the inn combines accommodation with a traditional pub and restaurant, providing a village base for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside.

The Peddars Way passes close to Great Cressingham, adding a long-distance trail to the walking available from the area. Sections of the route can be incorporated into a local walking break, while those following the complete trail can continue north through the Norfolk countryside towards Castle Acre.
Great Cressingham is also well placed for exploring more of inland Norfolk, with Castle Acre and its historic priory and castle further north and the wider landscapes of Breckland extending to the south and west.
